1st Sketch of Seascape

1st sketch of seascape on coloured textured paper with soft pastels. Size of picture about 200mm x 300mm.
I have used some soft pastels from a manufacturer named  'REEVES'

This is one hard subject for me to get the handle of, it is going to take a number of trys brfore I get anywhere near the result that I have in my head, well it would if I had an idea of what I have in my head.

I have started a seascape art project, attempting it, not much success I know, but what can I say, I do try.

I have started sketching this project and shall put it on the blog. At the moment it is really bad, so this will be a good example of a project as I try to make progress on a picture, the result is really poor. I have looked at other peoples art showing seascapes and my attempts are terrible. Hopefully I shall make some progress and the result might be interesting.
